FIELD DAY!

I would like to write about the field day today. Two weeks ago, athletic committee held the field day. It is the one of the big event of the keio academy of New York. I am the member of the class K and I am also a leader of the cheering. Every year, after the lunch, each classes perform a cheering dance 15 minutes. The victory and defeat is depending on the performance. Teachers and parents examinee our performance. Each class practiced for the performance from  one month ago. I was a leader of the performance. The responsibility of victory was big.

 This year’s theme of the performance is “the MOVIE”. So our class made a plot based on the movie. The main character, Nihei kun is a business man who is always tired. One day , after the work he went back to home and turn on the TV. The movie of peter pan was on the TV accidently. And the peter pan appeared from TV to real world and he disappointed there is a lot of people who is getting depressed about the life. He started to cheer these people, children who likes TVgames or PC, adults who burden on work, senior people who is disappointed about the future.

　I made a dance for the senior people. I gathered people who good at dance then we performed great dance!!! On the finale, our class used colorful umbrellas with a great song “I just can’t wait to be KING” form LION KING.

　Finally I got the prize of the best performance!!! At the field, class K made good efforts and won a lot of games! So class K victory on the field day! We became the KING! I was very glad about that.

 After the field day, leaders of class K ate Chinese foods!! It was very very delicious. The field day became very good memory for me.

  Yesterday, the all classes were over. Friday was “senior prank” day. We bring beds and cushions into the school. We performed band between classes. We ordered delivery foods for lunch. After the senior prank, I realized I love this school very much. I do not want to graduate from here. I have a lot of memories in here. 

SEASON OVER

We have only 18 days to stay in Keio NY!! That is unbelievable. The days of Keio New York was too fast . I am glad to graduate but I feel great sadness also.
Yesterday, the girl’s lacrosse team was over the spring season. I was a one of the manager of the girl lacrosse team. This season was great year. It was most strong team for the years which I managed. Last year we couldn’t win at all. But this year we won the game three times!! That is evolution of the girl’s lacrosse team. The coach is Mr,Consolati. He is very good guy. He has humor sense. He is great conductor of us. He is kind and sometimes strict. We obey him meekly. The captain was Yu Sakisaka and Miho Matsui. They are also great!!!! They has good skill of lacrosse. They got a lot of points on the games.
I managed the team as a manager, I made cold water, ices, mark the score books, prepare for the home game, and making rice bowls. For the last game, we made a lot of kinds of rice bowls. Salmon and seaweeds, chirashi (a lot of vegetable and mushrooms in vinaigrette rice), tuna and mayonnaise, and sour plums and so on. Players very glad about that! Actually rice bowls are very delicious. The bowls made players cheer up!
After the game, we delivered Japanese foods from Tanto Japanese restaurant. I ate “Hiyashi Chuka”. (OH, I have to introduce what is Hiyashi Chuka!? Hiyashi chuka is a popular dish in summer in Japan. It's like a noodle salad. Hiyashi chuka is made with chukamen(ramen noodle), and is served with lots of topping, vegetables, Japanese omelet, gingers, and roast poak. For toppings, if you choose different colored ingredients that is will be very beautiful dish.
I love Hiyashi Chuka. When I eat Hiyashi CHuka, I feel “the summer is coming!!” Yes, it is may, 20th. Gradually the summer coming for us. In Japan, climate is already warm, I heard. The temperature is over 28 degree. That is terrible!! That is too fast to coming summer. I afraid about global warming. How long we can live in the earth happily??!
Anyway, we experienced over of the season. Finally I only have job of rock band club. I will appear the graduation concert and graduation party. I play the piano and keyboard. I am practicing for these events now! I never feel boring in this school.
Next month, I will go buck to Japan. Only 3 weeks left for us. My life as an over seas student will over soon. What did I learn in the USA? I actually don’t feel “I had lived in NY!”. Because life of dormitory is shut by surroundings. This is little Japan! I am regretting about it. My English didn’t develop. I can’t speak English!!! I am very sad about it….. but I will continue the study of English after I go buck to japan! Someday, I would like to speak English fluently!!!!

DISNEYYYYYY

One week ago, Shofusai has done. It means that I graduated Zion hip hop dance club. Last stage of dance became a great memory for my life. I appeared three kinds of dance. First I appeared girls dance. It was performed by only girls. The theme of dance was “women army”, so we dressed military pants. The leader of girls was Rikako, her choreography was very cool and sexy! The spectators were excited by our cool dance!! Second, I appeared locking dance. The leader was I. Locking dance was my favorite dance. The theme of locking dance was “Party people”, I used funky music like you can hear in the Disco! We dressed black shirts with spangled tie. And we had spangled handkerchief. We handled the handkerchief with dance (we throw these and chatch, and more.) We could make fun the audience!!! The dance was successful. I and member of locking practiced every day morning before Shohusai. It was very very hard, but through the hard practice days, we could made great performance!!!!! Last performance was Hip Hop! It is king of dance. It was last dance for me. I danced desperately with deep emotion. I remember many memories about dance. Sometimes I wanted to quit the dance because a lot of problem came to me. But I didn’t rid from dance and continued dancing. Beyond the hard days, I loved dance more than before. Then I stood on the stage of Shofusai. Joy filled my hearth when I dance hip hop. After the hiphop dance I cried very much with my teammates. It was great memory for me. I am satisfied with my efforts for dance. I am glad to did dancing through days of high school.
At Honsai(school festival), my class, 12K did massage shop “Honey babe”. We did had massage with a lot of sweet hand creams. We got favorable reception and 12K filled a lot of people until Honsai is finished. I worked very much ( I had only one hour rest tiem!!!) and 12K got best sales award! The award was an honor to us.
After Shofusai and Honsai, seniors went to Florida as a graduation trip!!!!!! 5days of trip was filled with dream and magic. First day, we went to Magical Kingdom and met Mickey and Minnie, ride a lot of fun attraction. Then we saw “fantasmic!”, the biggest show in Florida Disney world. I am amazed by fantasmic. I am moved and cried. If you go to Disney resort, you should watch it!!!! Second day, we went to blizzard beach and Epcot. Blizzard beach is one of the pools in Disney world. We floated on the pool with tube. It was comfortable time. Third day we went to MGM Studio and Animal Kingdom. When we eat breakfast, Mickey and Minnie came to us! We took the picture and hugged them. I was very happy! I love Minnie mouse!! Fourth day, we went to Universal studio in Orland. I rode a lot of scarey coasters!!! It made us fun. Last day we watched the “Wish”. Wish is fireworks in magic kingdom. It was spectacular and magical show. I am moved very much. I wished something special on fireworks. Seeing the wish was the biggest memory of Florida trip!

REAL SPRING

Sky is blue. Wind is mild. Sunshine is calm. I feel beginning of spring. I love Spring season. I can't wait to see the cherry blossoms! LONG winter will finish.　New york's winter is very very long. I think I feel cold from last of October until now. It is hard time to get over the long winter! I remember last week I see snow I was very surprised!! Anyway real spring days is coming for us!!!! YEAH!
Tomorrow, ZENYASAI will hold at GYM of Keio Academy of New York! This is last stage of dance as a ZION HIP HOP DANCE CLUB. I have practiced everyday until today. I have to all out my efforts and make wonderful stage!!!!! I will left the zion hip hop dance club tomorrow. I have to do my best!! And I have a band for ZENYASAI and performance by 12th girls. Tomorrow, I am going to be busy!! GANBARIMASU!!
After Shofusai, I will stay one day at Manhattan with my mother and father. (they are coming to watch my performance.) I will go to a great restaurant, Del Posto. It is Italian restaurant which get two stars of Michelin. I am looking forward to enjoy the meal!!
After that, seniors go to Florida!! I already prepeared swim suits. I would like to go to cool poooool!!! And I would like to meet Mickey! He is wonderful character. He has dream power. He can make us happy. I will get energy by Mickey through the Florida trip.
After Florida Trip, The field day is waiting for us. KEIIO NEW YORK’s field day is very hot! Each class prepare the cheerleading and compare the cheers. Parents and Faculties are going to judge which class is the most wonderful cheers. I am belong at K and I am one of the leader of the cheer. I will get the best prize!!! I have to efforts to do well!!!!
After Field day, an event week is waiting for us. During June 1st to graduation day, a lot of events are prepared!! SENIRO PROM(I went to the PROM when I was 10th grade!lol so, I wouldn’t want to go to PROM this year!), GRADUATION PARTY, GRADUATION CONCERT, FINAL ROCK CONCERT, ACOUSTIC LIVE, and SPRING JANBOREE. I am going to enjoy every party and events!!!
After Event week, seniors will graduate this school!!!! I also! I can’t believe that. Only 54 days left for me and my friends. I have to do many things for making great memories! I would like to go to manhattan every day! I would like to see a lot of musicals. I would like to eat delicious foods in NYC. I would like to go to Six Flags!(In September 2008, seniors went to Six Flags! It was amazing! I love roller coasters!!!) I would like to go to Manhattan Ville collage and eat CRISPY CHICKEN WRAP SANDWITCH!( I love it very much!) I will dart to graduate after SHOHUSAI!!!! I will make great memories for last 50 days!!!

DISNEY LAND and I

9 o’clock, today, I saw snowing!!! Through the window, a lot of snow fall to ground. I am very surprised. Although it is April, New York is still cold. I think today’s snow is last one which I had seen snow since I came to New York. I will never see SNOW in New York. Now, Japan is in spring. I love spring as I mentioned last blog. I would like to go back to Japan and see cherry blossoms. New York doesn’t have spring season because still I am feeling cold. At Shohusai or thereabout, Cherry blossoms in Keio New York Academy will bloom. I would like to enjoy the season of cherry blossoms slowly, but seniors are going to go to Florida trip after day of the Shohusai! So I can see beautiful cherry blossoms for an only split second. It is unlucky thing for me. But I am looking forward to go to Disney WORLD!!!! I am Disney maniac! I have been to Disney land many many times since I am moved to TOKYO.
I was born in Fukuoka, there was no amusement park like Disney Land in FUKUOKA. When I was 5 years old, my family and I were moved to TOKYO. Then I went to Disney land at first time with my family. The first impression of Disneyland was unbelievable. I thought that “ What a wonderful dream place there is!!!” buildings are very beautiful, a parade and shows are splendid, characters from movie are all kind, food is delicious, and all people are filled with happy in Disney land. Since that day, I became captive of Disney land with my mom. Then we bought, “1 year free passport “. It costs over 500dollars. But it has value for people who go to Disney land over 20 times during a year. After we got the passport, we went to Disneyland as can as possible. My mother and I mastered about Disney land!!! YEAH! WE ARE MICKEY FREAK!!
Then after 3 or 4 years ago, Disney Sea was established! We went to Disney sea in period of the pre open. Disney Sea also fascinated us. Disney Sea has more elegant atmosphere than Disney land. So it is popular to couple and elders. I love both, Disney Land and Disney Sea.
When I was 4th grade, I went to Disney World in Florida with my family during the summer vacation. It was sensational memory. I am surprised the difference of scale between Disney resort in Japan and Disney resort in Florida. Florida is MORE MORE MORE bigger!!!! No one in the world can touch the Disney resort in Florida I thought! When I was 9th grade, I visted to Disney World in Florida again with my mother during Thanks Giving. I enjoyed the trip so much.
Then the week after next, we are going to visit the Disney World in FLORIDA! It is third time to visit to Disney world!!! My heart is thumped! I will enjoy very very much! And I will get great souvenirs to my mother.

67 days left

Since yesterday, fourth quarter has started!!! It is last quarter for me. I can’t believe it. I will graduate after 67days. When I retrace past events, these were too short. I think all events were happened yesterday!!! I don’t want to graduate now because I love this school…
Although it is April, the weather is still cloudy. I am very very looking forward to coming of spring!! In spring, I would like to go to Central Park and eat a delicious hamburger and drink a cold soda. My favorite season is SRPING! Because climate is very mild and flowers are blossoming, birds are singing peacefully, and people are warm. At the contrast, I hate SUMMER! Because it is tooooo hot. I easy to drip sweat on my body. It annoyed me very much. I can’t bear to stay outside over 30 minutes in SUMMER. SUMMER in Shibuya is terrible. I don’t want to touch people. I would stay summer resort place July to August.
Any way this month, we have SHOFUSAI and FLORIDA TRIP! This week I have an audition for performance of SHOFUSAI. I am member of a band which take audition for SHOFUSAI. We practice every day hardly. We will pass the audition and get last performer!! Next month, we have Field day. The field day of this school is very fancy!! Each class members practice dance and perform at FIELD DAY. I am one of the leader of Class K. This year we would like to win!!! K would become King! We already start to make a DANCE. We would like to make great performance!
At June, we are going to graduate this school, Keio Academy Of New York. After I graduate, I will go to Europe with my family 3weeks. I am looking forward to go to Europe. I would like to go to France and Spain and Italy.
I love European (especially France’s) sundry goods. The sundry goods of Europe are very cute. Especially goods with animal motif are my favorites. I love rabbit’s goods. I am collecting goods of rabbits.
In Italy, I would like to eat Italian foods in any case. From north to south, I would like to try out the food at one restaurant after another. Already you know, I love Italian foods. For the future, I would like to study Italian in Italia. This trip will be big experience for me. I would like to enjoy local dishes which it is hard to eat in Japan.
In Spain, I would like to see a lot of good architecture. Especially I want to see “Templo de la Sagarda Familia”. It is a massive Roman Catholic church under construction in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Construction began in 1882 and continues to this day.
I would like to spend time preciously until day of graduate. I don’t want to feel regret absolutely. I am going to precede club activities, friends, and enjoying the keio life. I never precede studying!!!! I will enjoy the school life completely!!!

Now, I am in mid-term exam week. Today I took English and Japanese. The test of English was bad. Sorry, Mr.Kinrgle about that! I couldn’t do vocabulary section well. I don’t know why because I studied it before the test. Hmm… But I think I did well at Writing section! Japanese was not so bad I think. Anyway, I have to change my mind to next test. Tomorrow, I will take Japanese history and area advanced studies. Japanese History is last boss of the test for me. I would like to get good grade at Japanese history so I have to study hard!!

 But I am very very sleepy now because I went to bed at 3:00 am o’clock yesterday. I would like to take a nap 2 or 3 hours and I will start to study!

After the exam, Shofu-sai is waiting for us. I would like to putting my heart and my soul into making dance. We have only 70 days until we will graduate. It is very short!!!! I would like to stay here more. Because I love NY, I love Keio, and I love friends. This school is wonderful for me.

When I was fourteen, I entered to this school as a 9^th grade student. At first I didn’t know about Keio New York Academy as well. I thought all students can’t speak English well. But, my classmates are almost speak English like native speaker. Especially my roommate, Risa was great English speaker. I was surprised and I felt anxious. I couldn’t speak English at all. Of course, Classes in English were all terrible for me. Especially, Biology was hell. I couldn’t understand anything what Dr.Killer says in class. I need big help by someone who can speak English. I questioned a lot of things to my roommate and I took some tutors. Then I got over hard days. I still appreciate to my roommate and all helpers.

At 10^th grade, I was got used to life of Keio. Hard days were over. Then I started to club activities. From 1oth grade to now, I had head over heels in dance. It is center of life in Keio for me! And I also join to rock band club and play the keyboard. It is also my pleasure! Playing the keyboard and piano is heel myself.

Now, I enjoy dancing. I enjoy plaing the piano. I enjoy that go to Manhattan. I enjoy that talk with friends until midnight. I enjoy that eat fatty Chinese foods with friends. I enjoy that watching movies with friends. And I enjoy the whole life of Keio. Next month, 12^th grade go to Florida, Disney land as a graduation tour!!! I am looking forward to go to Disney land very much! I had go to Florida Disneyland twice. These memories were very nice. I would like to meet micky as sonn as possible!!!After the test, All happy things will wait for me!!! I have to enjoy the last time of Keio!
