Winter!

Basta Pasta

Recently, New York is very very cold. Sometimes white snows fall and cold winds blow. I love winter. Because scenary of outside is always beautiful in winter. Air is very clear. Breath is white. When it snows, everything is covered with snow. Winter is my favorite season. I don't like summer. Because It's hot! I easy to get sweat. I can't dress up because I am always swetting in summer. I don't like strong sunshine because it is too dazzled for me and my skin easy to get sunburned. But Winter is cold. I can dress up as I like.

And there is winter vacation in winter. During winter vacation, Christmas and New year are waiting for us! I love both festival. Christmas makes me excited. Twinlking colorful ilminations, delicious dishes, cute presents from SaintClause, flickering candles, tasty cakes, and gorgeous christmas tree. Each elements of Christmas is wonderful and it is like dream. The day of the christmas is out of the reality. All people's face is covered with big smiles. I am look forward to Christmas 08'.

And I also love New Year, Oshogatsu. Every year, my family go back to my grandfather house in Fukuoka in end of the December. We greet the NewYear in grandfather's house. I never greet the New Year in Tokyo. So, in grandfather's house a lot of relatives gathered at New Year Day. His house is filled with very cheerful voices. We eat delicious foods. We pay a visit to a shrine together. New Year Day is filled with hope to new year. I love the scenary.

Winter Vacation is comig soooooon! Next wednesday, we are going to back to Japan. I can't wait! I also look forward to meet my family, father, mother, brother, and dog, Vivi. I would like to eat my mother's special foods. I am tired of foods of cafeteria. Yesterday I only eat rice and carrot in dinner. It is awful! It stresses me. I would like to eat good healthy mom's food!

Today, I introduce good restaurant: Basta Pasta
It is Italyan restaurant in Soho, NYC. Owner of this restaurant is Japanese. Almost employeer are Japanese. So you can choose menus and order in Japanese. 3 years ago, I have been to visit the restaurant with my father. I am surprised how nice pastas there are. Since then I have visited the restaurant sometimes. The restaurant give foods as very simple and very good quality. Ingredients which they use are sooo fresh and everything is made with precision. Especially I love "Filetto di Manzo con Fegato d’Anatra". this dish is based on Filet mignon & foie-gras with and daikon radish & porcini sauce. It is farvelous flavor. Mixed aroma of everything was so nice! But recently, the dishe has changed. Now the restaurant surve filetmignon and foie-gras with compoated apples. I liked it. But I love old one!
