I expected that today is going to be snowday!!!!! But I am in English class now because the school decided today's school schedule gonna delay... I would like to stay in dormitory and order some pizzas and see some good movies!!!! It is a real life. I have to live strongly----!
School has started since 2 days ago. But jet lag and cold bother me. I don't have courage. I would like to go back to Japannnnnnn so much. but I have to live strongly-----!
Anyway,Winter Vacation was very nice!** I did a lot of fun things!!! From the end of the year to new year, I stayed in Fukuoka with my grandfather, grandmother, uncle, and my family. I love Fukuoka. I was born in Fukuoka. Fukuoka has many delicious foods; Hakata Ramen, Mentaiko, Takana, Torafugu, and motsu-nabe! I ate Hakata Ramen and Fugu. Both were very delicious. Hakata Ramen is also called 'Nagahama Ramen' from the name of the district in Fukuoka City. I am going to introduce about Hakata ramen now!! The hakata ramen consists three things; noodles, soup, and toppings. And each part of Hakata Ramen has characteristic features. The noodles of Hakata Ramen are hard and thin, which gives you a unique touch on your teeth. The soup is extracted from tonkotsu (pork bones), which is very thick and strong. The toppings are generally long green onion, red gingers, roast poak, and see weeds. You should try it once in Hakata!! In Nagahama, some ramen shops go around with a stall selling Hakata Ramen. It made the ramen all the more attractive.
At new year, we enjoyed Osechi and Zoni. I love Zoni especially mochi. I ate Zoni 4 times in two days. My house's Zoni include a lot of toppings. Fish, Squid, Spinach, boiled fish paste, carrot, Gobo, and rice cake;MOCHI!!! It is so delicious----! I still want to eat Zoni! I can't wait to next new year for Zoni.
At This year's wnter break, I ate many delicious foods! I was satisfied with them. I went to Italian, French, and Chinise restaurant with my family. Each restaurant was very nice. I promise Tokyo has many great restaurants than NYC! But I am going to find new restaurants in NYC!!! It is my preasure----*

I like Zoni too. Mochi by itself isn't very interesting, but in Zoni I like it. I like some kinds of osetchi, also (I don't remember which). I wish we could get osetchi here.
I've never been to Fukuoka, but I hope to visit some day. I'd like to go about through all of Kyushu. I've been to Tohoku and Hokaido, and Western Honshu, but never Kyushu. Maybe someday . . .
I want to eat FUGU!!
