MOTHER COUNTRY FUKUOKA!

TONOKOTSU RAMEN AND MENTAIKO WITH WHITE RICE


Recently I run around the keio ground once in two-days with my friend in early morning. And, every night I am doing sit-ups in 5 minutes. This project has started to get beautiful proportion. Why do I need slender body? Because Florida Trip is waiting for seniors in April. In Florida trip, we are going to Disney World. Disney World is very very vast. Not only amusement park, there are some pools. So we have to wear the swimsuit! It is big problem for me! I can’t wear the any swim suits now. .. I have to reduce my fat from my ugly bodyyyyy!
But this weekend, I am going to SkiTrip! This Friday, PM3:30, members of ski trip depart to Killington. That’s trip of 3nights and 4days. To Killington, It takes 7hours by Bus. I should take i-pod for killing time. Although I am looking forward to go to Ski, maybe I will eat a lot of foods during Ski Trip. It is big damage for dieting body. We will make Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba, fried rice, pancake, and more…!!! And at Ski lodge, the waffle is sold! The Waffle is very delicious! I would like to eat waffle as soon as possible!!!!! Clam chowder is lodge is also great. The soup is filled with bread bowl!
By the way, I am not good at skiing. I have anxious about skiing. Maybe I will make a lot of bruises. Ouch! When I was 5th grade, I had skied first time with my family in Karuizawa, Gunmma. I have distinct memory about the ski. It was very scary and I noticed my mother’s kindness. She helped me very much. I knew mother is indefatigable person. Any way, I would like to fun the trip!!!!!
Today, I would like to introduce my mother country, Fukuoka. I was born in Fukuoka, Kyusyu. And I had lived Fukuoka until I was 5 years old. It is the most populous city in Kyusyu. It is also very modern city like Osaka and Tokyo. Fukuoka has great culture, especially foods are very delicious. Most famous food is Tonkotsu ra-men. Tonokotsu means pork bone. This rame has usually white colored soup. This soup is made based on boiling pork bones. Noodle is very think and hard. That is characteristic of Tonkotsu ramen. I love it! You can eat Tonkotsu ramen in NewYork. Ippudo in East village is very popular Tonkotsu Ramen Shop. The shop is clowded with a lot of people every day.
Mentaiko is also famous food in Fukuoka. Mentaiko is food which marinated roe of Pollock with red pepper. It is very fit with white rice. As a break fast, I sometimes see Mentaiko beyond the white rice. It is traditional break fast in Fukuoka. I love Mentaiko! Especially grilled Mentaiko is very very delicious! You should try it once.
Fukuoka also have good shopping spot, Tenjin. It is like small Ginza in Tokyo. A lot of celebrity shops, departs, and restaurants. Fukuoka is very interesting place!
Now, my father’s parents live in Fukuoka. In Summer, I am going to stay Fukuoka one or two weeks. I am looking forward to visit Fukuoka!
