Why today is not snow day-?! Yesterday, I believed today will be snow day, so I worked on my senior page until 3:30am. I am making a senior page for year book. All seniors have a space for personal pictures like teammate, friends, and family. To make a senior page is very hard. First we have to print a lot of pictures. It costs very much! (one of my friend cost 80dollars!) Next, we have to cut pictures for needed. It is very exertion work. My hands almost could be inflammation of a tendon sheath! After that, we have to decided that where we have to put pictures. The space is small so we have to pile up pictures. It is difficult and taking time. When you decided pictures positions, we could paste pictures on a paper. Then we put some comments or decoration. Finish. We have to do these things for four paper and one smaller paper. It is very hard! Due date is today! So I work hard yesterday until 3:30 but still my senior page doesn’t finish. I have to continue to work.
So I hope today will be snow day. I am very sleepy… like during exam. Weather always betrays our hope. This year we had snow day only once. We need more snow day please!!
Today, I choose a good topic! I would like to talk about “If you could go anywhere, where would you go and why?” Now, I would like to go to FINLAND! Last weekend, I watched a Japanese movie, “Kamome Shokudo”. Kamome means “a sea mew”. Shokudo means “restaurant”. The story is set in Helsinki, Finland. A Japanese women practice a restaurant “Kamome Shokudo” in Helsinki. She wants to tell Finland people how delicious rice ball is. She loves rice ball, Japanese traditional soul food. The story centers round Kamome shokudo. Interesting visitors coming every day and their talking is good. Foods in the movie is also good. Some traditional foods in finland is appeared, like salmon and meet balls. The coffee in the movie is also seem good. I don’t like coffee because it is bitter for me ( I have childish tongue). But I would like to drink the coffee of the movie. And main casts’ characters are very warm. Each person have good individuality and warm heart. I thought there are a lot of kind person in Finland. Kamome Shokudo was also very good movie! I would like to see it again----*.
In the movie, I saw beautiful town in Helsinki. Sky is very high and transparent blue. There is a forest near the town. A vegetable and fish market is humming. People are very kind. The time goes slowly in Finland, I thought. Finland will heel people who working hard. And you could see the midnight sun in Finland. I would like to see it once. It is very mysterious for me. Anyway Finland is very attractive country for me. After I graduated, I would like to go to many many places and see a lot of meaningful things.

I hope you can go to Finland someday. When I was a Boy Scout my brother and I got to go to Finland (this was more than 30 years ago). We did a homestay with a family in Helsinki, and because it was summer they also took us to their summer house in the woods. You are right, Helsinki is a beautiful city; it has a really interesting sculpture and museum about the composer Sibelius. If you go, the best time to visit is summer. I hope I can go there again some time.
